Converted industrial buildings, artist studios, and fresh condos share the blocks with a few stubborn old cottages. It's the gallery-crawl neighborhood, still deciding what it wants to be, which is the appeal. It fits people who want new construction close to the core without living in a tower. The fairgrounds and the soccer stadium are neighbors, and event nights sound like it.
